Took a visit to the south side of Manchester Airport to see the American Airlines B757 in OneWorld colours and the US Airways A330-200 departing. I then went up to the landing end of '05' for the Libyan CRJ900.

With having to take the day off to look after the sick son, i managed to photgraph the new Air France Airbus A380 OTT Manchester on its way to JFK.

My last full day and another 1 hour visit before doing the holiday stuff with the wife.

Just a quick jib down for an hour before breakfast. Would be rude not to.

Took a 1 week holiday to Las Vegas for a none spotting holiday. Managed to put away nearly 700 frames. Not bad for none spotting. Very understanding wife i have, very understanding.

Spent a few hours opposite the Airport Hotel waiting for the expected Emb190 of KLM. Dissapointment as it turns out to be a Fkr100..DOH

Spent a couple of hours waiting for the 1st visit of the BAW A320 G-EUYD.

After a week in Brighton the wife managed to talk me round to spending a few days at Gatwick (not a hard task) at the caravan park which is close to the runway and thankfully I remembered my SBS box otherwise I am afraid I may have had to do married man things like entertain the wife.

Well the weather did it again. Not only was our caravan site bogged out with mud and shut but the show cancelled Saturday and Sunday aswell. Disapointment in large portions, especially when you try and explain for a 2nd time to a 10 year old that he wont get to see the F22 or the MH-53 (yes the Transformers Movie) until a phone call from Mr Sullivan. "Keep your hopes up lad we may have a trip round the base. Be ready for 7am, we will pick you up". At this point my wife was close to being dumped and me coming out of the closset and running off with my now best mate.....7am came and so did my lift to meet our tour guide who I will call "Mate" because I cant remember his proper name...DOH.
Anyway I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Here is my view of the arrivals for the UEFA Cup finals arrivals. So good to see those coal burner TU-154's which i reckon you wont see many on British soil / tarmac again.

1st visit of the year to London Heathrow saw me take in the departures until the A380 of Singapore lifted then on to the arrivals until around 4pm.

Visited today for a depature shot of the American Trans Air DC-10 which diverted in from a foggy Mildenhall. Had to wait nearly 5 hours mind you which gave me a chance to shoot this lot.

Took a couple of hours on the southside of Manchester today. As per usual arrived to late for a nice shot of the SIA B777 lifting and left to early to catch the UTD game so missed the Libyan CRJ900 and the Pollit An124. Anyway here is what i managed to photograph.

On the way back from Baldonnel we called into Weston for an arranged tour courtesy of Vanessa at Weston Airport.

A visit to Dublin on a Ryanair cheapie (2p all in) from Liverpool took me and a couple of mates to Baldonnel for a tour of the base. Here is what was seen.

These photos were taken at a very small airfield just on the outskirts of Praia Do Forte named "Mata De Sao Joao". This is the only aircraft based there.

Just been away for our annual holiday. Visited Brazil this year and a very good time we had to. With my wife being a very understanding woman, gave me a pass out on the 19th. Managed 6 hours from 9am to 3pm. Would of stayed longer but for the heat...damn it was hot.
A nice turn up for the books was the Turbo DC3-TP67 c/n 33581 that was only registered on 12-7-07 came in but unfortunately for me landed on the small runway so a decent shot was out of the question.
Also a nice and unexpected arrival was a -Embraer AT-26 Xavante with tail art. Unfortunately i am unable to read the registration, so if anyone knows which it is i would be grateful if it could be supplied.
Anyway less waffle and more graphs..... Enjoy, I did.......

Caught flying overhead Altrincham @ 30,000ft having departed Prestwick bound for Tripoli.

Had the camera out for 20 mins and managed this lot before heading off to work....

As we were passing Stansted it would of been very rude not to call in for 3 1/2 hours. Thankfully he sun was shining to keep the Mrs happy. Heres what was photo'd.......

Visited EMA on the way to Colchester to visit the wifes family. Being a very understanding woman she agreed to hang around for 30 mins for the Lufthansa MD-11F which turned out to be one i had seen before "B". Heres what was seen........

After recieving a phone call from Mr Richards regarding a C27J diverting in and with it being a bank holiday, thought i would visit the local drome to photo the aformentioned plane. Here is the outcome.

A weekend was planned in the caravan for Waddington Airshow but due to the weather situation on Sunday it turned out to be a very short weekend. Thankfully i had a day for the arrivals as this was the best day with a bit of sunshine in between a few light showers.
The photographs taken are mainly of the arrivals day but a few taken on the saturday show day of the SU-30's of the Indian Airforce taking off.

Took the opportunity to visit the AVP after dropping of my sister for her flight to Berlin via Stansted on the Berlin A320 D-ANNF. This is what i managed in the 2 hours i was there for....Enjoy

Visited the local for a couple of hours for the biz traffic that was due for the Man Utd game. Also got a shot of the First Choice B767 Departing from 06 Right.

Took a visit to Sywell yeaterday for a couple of hours as this looked liked the best day for weather for the weekend, which isn't that suprising as its a bank holiday weekend.

Took myself to the 06 end of Manchester Airport today for a couple of shots of the 1st visit of the Great Wall Cargo B744F.

I took myself to the Aviation Viewing Park at Manchester Airport for all the biz jets that were due for the Champions League semi final 1st let between Manchester United & A C Milan. Here is what was seen.

A trip down south for what was promised as a very sunny day, needless to say they got it right. Sat at the end of '09' Left for an hour or so to photo the Etihad B773 & Air Canada B773 then it was round to Bedfont Football Club to photo the departing traffic till around 16:45pm then back to '09' Left till it was time to depart back home.

Another visit to the southside to get the Air One A320 saw me photograph this little lot.

Visited the south side for an hour then as the clag set in i took myself off to the Tatton Arms on ringway road. Here's what was photographed.....

A romantic weekend away to watch Stockport County (Nuff said on this subject) with the boss saw me take a slight diversion off the M5 to see what was lurking at Exeter. Heres what i managed.

A visit over to the southside was planned to get some landing shots on "06" Right, unbeknown to me that they had switched and gone back to "24" DOH. Oh well, here is what was seen in an hour and twenty mins.

Managed a few hours before the Variglog MD-11F arrived. Here is what was seen also 4 shots of the aformentioned MD-11F.

F-WWDD gave a fly-by today at East Midlands, Derby Rolls Royce factory, Hawarden & Bristol today. Here are a selection of photos of the Hawarden visit. Unfortunately the aircraft in question was in the polar bear in the snow scheme "white" & not the Airbus house colour scheme.

Visited Manchester for the delivery of Pakistan Airlines new B772LR. Photos were taken from level 12 of the car park.

A visit to Manchester Airport Southside as the sun was trying to shine for some spotting and photos. Anyway, here is what was seen in 2 hours between 9am and 11am.

As we had snow down south Manchester became the main airfield for the diversions. Was hoping to get a picture of the Etihad B773er but this was not meant to be and had to leave @ 14:30pm. Managed to get photos of the other diversions and some of Manchester regulars. Enjoy.

Visited Florida for the Superbowl traffic and a bit of a tan.... Well no chance of a tan as it was awful weather. The day of the superbowl was even worse with torential rain for most of the day. Needless to say unfortunatly the camera stayed in the bag.

Decided to take a visit to the local tin drome. 1st time for a while. Managed to gain access to all but 1 hanger. This is what i photo'd. Would of been more but the weather was a bit minging......Enjoy

Went down to Heathrow for the Kenyan delivery flight of the new Boeing 737-8ng. Here are 5 shots of the said plane.

Managed to get a couple of hours in today on the south side of Manchester Airport for the possible influx of diversion, which needless to say, did not materialise. There was a few extra flights but nothing major. Managed to get the RAF C-17 departing and a lucky shot of the SIA B744 departing through its own vortex.

Brought the camera out of hibernation as the sun was shinning and this is what was graphed from my back garden in Altrincham.....

A rare day off during midweek so took full advantage and spent 7 hours on the AVP. Highlights of the day go to RAF Avia SF340 and the new FlyBe -8.400.

Took advantage of some sunshine and visited the south side of Manchester Airport. This is the result, hope you like them.

Visited the Aviation Viewing Park today for the arrival of the Copenhagen fans for the game at Old Trafford. Weather could have been better, but we are in Manchester !!!!!

Visited my local drome for the 1st time in a while. Managed to get this little lot.

Taken at Puerto Vallarta whilst on my honeymoon. I have a very understanding wife, very understanding. Unfortunatly, i didn't have my big lens with me, so all these were taken with my 18-55mm lens.

Well what started out to be a day in winter, turned out to be glorious day in summer. Fairford this year not as good as previous but some very nice planes like the Pakistan C130 and the Malaysian Casa.

Decided to take the afternoon off and get down for the Algerian's. Hoping to get photos of all 3 but only managed the Gulf 4 7T-VPS. A bonus was the Army Apache that buzzed overhead.

Managed a trip to Newark Air Museum today. Very hot and sunny a great day for shooting the aircraft.

Trawled a few aerodromes today and one being Gamston in Nottinghamshire. Managed to get a full base tour for a moderate fee of £2.50 which goes to charity. Here are a few shots of the place.

Managed to get to the departures day as wasnt able to get to the Airshow. Here is what i managed in the 2 hours i was there for.

Visited the Viewing Park as the sun was shining and on a short day at work. Good to see the PIA B747-3 AP-BFW in the new tail scheme also the happy Air Berin pilot in D-ABBS giving it plenty of waving as he passed. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Visited southside of the airport this morning. Overcast weather the reason for only staying an hour. Here is what was seen.

Received a call from John Bradbury of Cheshire Microlight Centre at Arclid Green in Sanbach requesting some air-air photos, with a possability of some being published in Cheshire Life magazine. Being the kind hearted person i am said yes. I was flying in a new Mainair Quik GT450 G-TPWL having only 20hrs on the clock while taking photos of Mainair Quik GT450 G-CDWW over the Cheshire plains. Heres the outcome hope you enjoy them.

The first airshow of the season for me resulted in a very hot and sunny day. Unfortunatly the sun was in your face for the first part of the show but eventually came to a decent position for some photos.

Took a quick visit to Liverpool for the CASA 235 then onto work for a few hours, then decided to get up to the viewing park at Manchester before the Rooney transport Ce560 departed.

Visited Manchester to photograph the Malev HA-LOM but due to changing winds and on the wrong side of the runway, i must the shot. Here are shots from the south side and inbetween runways morning and afternoon.

A rainy morning greeted us for our visit to Gatow for the museum. Thankfully though it eased off just after we arrived.
